Near to the site of a former ceramic tile manufacturing facility in Zanesville, Ohio, the Avendt Group completed - within 16 months - all engineering services and managed the excavation, removal, off-site stabilization and disposal of 9,217 tons of lead contaminated materials and the restoration of the yards of adjacent private residences. This was in response to a Unilateral Consent Order from the U.S. EPA for the remediation of an unauthorized dump site of lead-glaze material.
